My girlfriend's parents just bought her a new car; a 2005 VW Passat Wagon, with the 5-speed manual (Single owner 80000 miles). She is in shock, as she's never been a wagon person. Offically, she would prefer a Challenger SRT8, though that car doesn't lend itself to being in parking lots around court houses all day (girlfriend graduates law school in May). The theory behind the purchase is that it fits all her stuff (ALL OF IT) and manual is practice for the Challenger (She drives my Mustang far and in-between), when she evenutally buys it.
Anyway, I digress; she isn't convinced it is cool so I thought I would enlist the help of my fellow Jalops to explain why it is. Also, on a side note, I am aware I am dating someone (for about 3 years) who can drive a manual, drives a wagon, and likes muscle cars. I think I'm pretty lucky.
